This December, we want to thank you all for your efforts in the Community. We’re hosting a new event with Segment merch prizes in celebration!
December 5th - December 15th: “Ask a Question, Answer a Question”
In the first half of December, ask a question (or start a discussion) and answer a question to receive merch from us!
Requirements:
- Ask a question or Start a discussion
- Reply to a question & Have your reply marked as the best answer
Make sure to check back on any question you ask to mark the best answer!

Following the completion of the requirements, an email will be sent containing a link to access our merch portal. Prizes are first-come first-serve while supplies last.
December 16th - January 10th: “Share your Segment Tips and Goals”
2025 is just around the corner. We’re curious to learn one tip/best practice that helped your team in 2024, or a data goal that you’ve set for the new year.
Requirements:
- Add a thoughtful reply to one (or both) of the following discussions:

Yearly Leaderboard
We want to thank those of you who have been doing the most this year. While we continue to grow and expand the Community, your contributions have been unparalleled. To cap off the year, we will be awarding the top 25 point-holders in Segment Community with their choice of exclusive merch.

Points, Badges, and more.
We have refreshed some things around here to help recognize our Community leaders with a new point system and a host of badges to earn. Your questions, answers, discussions, and best practices are valuable resources for all Segment users. These efforts in the Community are reflected through the points you gain.
For our most active Community members, we’ve added monthly Top Contributor and Most Helpful awards.
