Be honest and transparent.

As a member of the Community, we ask that you do not participate or represent anonymously, or with a pseudonym. This is an enterprise business community where we encourage our members to represent themselves authentically to get the most out of the collaborative nature of the community. If any any point you need to update your username, please reach out to the Community Manager.

Be respectful and kind.

Treat fellow community members with respect, kindness, and empathy. We celebrate diversity and value different perspectives. Please do not use ethnic or racial slurs, personal insults, or obscenity. Please do not engage in personal attacks or disparage any other participant in this community. Offer assistance and support to fellow community members when possible. Sharing knowledge and experiences can benefit everyone in the community.

Keep discussions focused.

We encourage active participation from all Segment customers as well as partners, but highly discourage blatant promotion of products, services or spam. Stay on  topics around product features, usability, best practices, troubleshooting, and industry trends. Also, please recognize that you are legally responsible for any content you post and that you may be subject to liability if your posts are found defamatory, harassing, violation of any applicable law, or our Terms of Use.

Respect privacy.

Please respect the privacy and confidentiality of others. Do not share sensitive information or personal data without permission.

Report any and all misconduct.

We rely on our community members to notify us of behaviors that are inconsistent with our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines. If you encounter behavior that violates our guidelines or makes you feel uncomfortable, please report it to the community moderators for appropriate action.
